Supporting Brent Lodge Wildlife Hospital

Updated: Mar 3, 2021

We love giving back and using our little business to help support great causes. So this Valentine's we are really pleased to announce we are supporting Brent Lodge Wildlife Hospital with their Love Bird Auction.

Honeste Charity Auction

About Brent Lodge Wildlife Hospital

Brent Lodge is a wildlife hospital on the south coast of England. This wonderful charity cares for and rehabilitates sick, injured and orphaned wildlife in the UK. Their aim is to get the animals back to full health so they can be released back into the wild; hugely important given the fact the UK is one of the "world's most nature-depleted countries" (Brent Lodge Wildlife Hospital).

Animals may come in from good samaritans from the general public, the RSPCA or vets and they care for around 3,500 animals every single year - all relying on donations and no government funding.

Why Brent Lodge Wildlife Hospital?

Those of you who know Honeste well, know we are passionate about using our small little business for good. Both Katherine and myself are hugely passionate about wildlife, animal welfare and conservation and the environment.

So when Brent Lodge Wildlife Hospital asked if we may be able to support their auction, of course, we said yes. We are happy to be donating one of our Valentine's Art Prints to their Love Bird auction. The wildlife hospital combines our love of wildlife with conservation given that both habitat loss and climate change is directly impacting the wildlife here in the UK.

How Can You Take Park In The Auction

That part is easy - head over to Facebook and Brent Lodge Wildlife Hospital's Facebook page and you will find all the information. You can bid this weekend on a number of different lots to support this brilliant cause; the bidding runs through until 11 pm on Sunday the 7th February.

What Other Charity Activities Will We Be Supporting This Year

We are really excited about what we have planned this year to support great causes having supported our first Charity auction last Christmas. Katherine and I have been working hard and as you may know, we have committed to giving 10% of our profits away for wildlife and environmental charities; we have just announced our main charity partner which you can read about here; sign-up to our newsletter for more all the latest news. You can read more about our charity work on our About Us page.
